Valentine's Day Weekend

We got to spend Valentine's Day Weekend in San Antonio! We had such a great time. Landri and I were ready for some sunshine after we had been in the house all week! We left our house on Friday afternoon and it was still covered with snow. When we got to Mom and Dad's, Mom had the house decorated for Valentine's! She had balloons everywhere and even Valentine's doughnuts! It was so cute! Only grandmothers do stuff like that.....On Saturday, the girls went to get manicures. Landri thought she was so big and talked to the lady the entire time. Then we met the boys downtown for lunch. We enjoyed a great nap and some lazy tv time that night. On Sunday, we had a great breakfast and Landri enjoyed opening her LARGE box of goodies from Mams, Granddad, and Marky. Then it was time to head to the rodeo. We got there early so Landri could enjoy the midway and see some animals. Of course, she wanted nothing to do with the games or rides! All she wanted was something to drink!!!! After a large lemonade, we headed in. Landri really liked watching all the events. But she enjoyed the food even more....We sampled cotton candy, a hot dog, and some ice cream! Blake Shelton played after the rodeo and Landri fell fast asleep for most of it. When it was time to leave, Landri then decided that she wanted to ride a ride...the caterpillar roller coaster. So of course, she won and got to go ride it! It was her first roller coaster! She was too cute! She wasn't thrilled about riding with a boy she didn't know, but she was a big girl. By that time, we were all tired and ready to go. We enjoyed a nice night at home watching the Olympics. Mom and Dad had to work on Monday. So we said our good-byes and headed home! =( Landri was not at all happy about leaving Uncle Mark! She is crazy about him. (and he is about her too!)
We are counting down the days until Spring Break when they come to visit us! YEAH! We have the next few months planned out for visits....In March, they will come for Spring Break and then we will all head to Sherman to see Grandmary. In April, we will see them for Landri's 4th birthday and then again for my 30th birthday. Then at the end of May, it will be time for Bailey Kate to arrive and they will be here again! It makes the time go by faster when we have a plan!
