Landri's Gone to SA......what will we do? =)

What a great weekend we have had! We had some family time Friday night and had a blast! Saturday we went to Temple to Owen's (one of my college roommate's) 2nd birthday party. It was hot but lots of fun. It was great to get together with ol' friends and their kiddos. After the party, we took Landri to meet my mom and dad. She will be spending the week in SA being spoiled I am sure! I am catching a flight down Wednesday as soon as summer school is over!!!! Then Ryan will join us for the holiday weekend!

Last night on our way back Ryan and I decided that it would be fun to keep heading north to Winstar Casino and do a little gambling! We had a good time...no big winners though! Just a late night....we got home at 2am! WOW! That has been years since that has happened. =)

Today I am planning to meet Cheryl and we are going to get our Mother's Day massages! I can't wait! Monday night Ryan and I are going to the Rangers game......I am sure it will be EXTRA hot!

My Little Bookworm!

Landri LOVES books! Anytime, anywhere! We have visited the new Azle Library and got lots of good bedtime stories! She also just got a new Tooth book from mom's friend, Olga! And we read them over and over! She has them memorized and can "read" them too! I hope she continues this love for reading and books!

Swimming Lessons

Landri is still having a great time with Grandmary every day while I am at summer school. I come home and get Landri and head to the YMCA for swimming lessons. The lessons have been for 2 weeks and Landri has learned a lot. I think we will take more lessons at the end of the summer. Her teacher, Ms. Denise, is very patient with all of them. Landri came leave the wall and swim to her all by herself! Although it doesn't look very pretty! She can also hold her breath longer underwater. She loves to jump in from the side and swim to the ladder. Of course, class is even better because her buddies Claire and Lily are there too! Sometimes they get a little too crazy together!

Summer is here!

Well it is official....School is out! YEAH! Since Eagle Heights is getting major work this summer, the last 3 weeks have been spent packing, packing, packing, and then moving everything! So I am glad to say that it is over! Of course, I think the packing will be mild when August comes and I have to unpack it all! I am teaching summer school so that starts this next week. But is is only 15 days and Grandmary will be here keeping Landri! So it will be fine!

Landri starts swimming lessons on Monday afternoon. Hopefully she will do great! We are heading to SA for the 4th and Taos in mid-July with my family. It seems our weekends are filling up with birthday parties, weddings, etc.....I am hoping for some time to relax too!

Here are the cute pictures of Claire and Landri I promised last week! Jennifer and I plan to take their pictures like this every year to see how much they have grown. Aren't they cute?
