Bailey's Visitors

Bailey is so lucky to have so many people who love her! She had lots of visitors at the hospital and some more since we have been home. Mams, Grandmary, Uncle Mark, and Granddad came to stay with us for the first 4 nights! It was so great to have them here....both for Bailey and Landri. Granddad and Uncle Mark had to head back to San Antonio today but they will be back next weekend. Mams and Grandmary are here for at least another week! YEAH! We are so lucky to have them! They are the best grandparents/parents anyone could ask for! We have all just been taking it easy! Bailey is a great eater and sleeper! Mom and I are taking her back tomorrow for her 5 day check up and then I go back on Thursday. Landri is adjusting well and really likes to talk to Bailey and help with her. We are so blessed with 2 adorable little princesses in our lives! =)

Zoo and Birthday Party

Ryan and I decided that we would take Landri to the zoo for a "Landri" Day. (Even though I think most days are those.....=)...Since Bailey will be here this week or next, we thought we would let Landri enjoy being an only child for a little bit longer! We headed out when they opened this morning and stayed for a few hours. As it was getting hot, we headed out for ice cream and a good nap!
Landri loves the zoo! I am so glad that we got zoo passes so I can take her whenever we want. So already knows most of the animals and which way to go to find them! When I ask her what something was today, she answered and then added "I am so clever!" Too funny! Her favorite thing today was the otter! I have to admit he was really cute! He was putting on a swimming show for us! So of course, she chose an otter from the gift store! She named him Otter on the way home. On a side note, we stopped at a yogurt place called Menchie's after we left and it was too cool. It is on University in Fort Worth. You choose your own yogurt and then load it up with toppings. Then they just weigh it at the end! Great way to end a fun day!

Before the recital on Saturday, we helped Morgan celebrate her birthday at The Little Gym. Landri had a great time! She really likes stuff like that! As soon as the party was over, it was a mad dash to get her and Claire ready and off to the recital! =)

Dance Recital

After starting a new dance place in January, we were all excited to see what fun the recital would be! After MANY practices and a long dress rehearsal, it went great! Everything was organized and it was super entertaining! Landri and her four friends were the only ones on stage most of the time. They shared one dance with another class and then everyone went on for the finale. These pictures were taken at the dress rehearsal because you couldn't take pictures the night of the show. But Ryan did get some great video to show everyone!
Landri hasn't decided if dance is her thing though....She is really good and learns all the steps and dances. But she told me that she really wants to do gymnastics again and play soccer! We will see what the fall brings...Enjoy the pictures!

Survivor Day

Each year in 2nd grade we have Survivor Day. Each class competes against each in games. It is a great time and sometimes a HUGE mess! But the kids love it and I have a great time. Each class is a different color and we order t-shirts. Jennifer and I always get our girls a shirt and take pictures. The first two pictures are from this year and the third one is from last year. Look how big they have gotten! The last picture tells you what place the Super Sewards got! I think it might be 3 or 4 years in a row! Needless to say, their teacher is a little competitive! =)

Mother/Daughter Brunch

Today Landri and I went to the Mother/Daughter Brunch at our church. We had some delicious food and then listened to a storyteller. Landri enjoyed being with Addi and Hayley, her friends from church. They are both almost 2 years older than Landri, but they all have really good time together.

Bailey's Shower

My good friends, Jennifer and Kristi, gave me a shower at school a couple weeks ago for Bailey. We got lots of diapers, wipes, cute clothes, and other great baby stuff from everyone I work with. Jennifer had all the cupcakes made and added the toppers. Each one either said Bailey on it or had a B....They were so cute and yummy too! Kristi made some delicious punch too! Jennifer gave the me the super cute letters to hang above Bailey's crib that match her bedding. She also had some made for Landri before she was born too! In two weeks, Cheryl has organized a "sprinkle" for Bailey and my good friends! That will be fun...I am so lucky to have such great friends!

So I celebrated the BIG 3-0 this past week. My family came to our house the weekend before to celebrate with me. It was such a nice day on Saturday that we headed out to the Southlake Town Center for the Arts Festival. We had a great time. Then we went to the Cheesecake Factory for a birthday lunch. Some how I managed to take all the pictures and not get in one! I am staying away from the camera these days...since Bailey will be here in a little over 4 weeks, I am not thrilled about having my picture taken right now! =) On Thursday, my actualy birthday, we met the Dale's, Clark's, and Vaughan's at Joe T's for a birthday dinner. We had a great time with great friends!
