Well for the 2nd time in a week, it has snowed in Keller, Texas! Crazy! We were so busy on Christmas Eve and Day that Landri didn't really get the chance to go play. So she did today when Ryan got home. Of course, there wasn't near as much snow as last week but she still loved it! She really loved picking it up and throwing it at Ryan. He did hit her once right in the forehead! It was too cute!

Christmas Morning
Santa must have thought Landri was a good girl this past year! He fixed her up with lots of gifts. She got a scooter, Lite Brite, movies, Barbies, a tee ball set and glove, Bendaroos, and umbrella and lots of other fun stuff! She likes the scooter and umbrella best of all. She pretends that she is Penny from Bolt when she is on the scooter. She has just gotten to ride it through the house since we had lots of ice and snow.....Today (Sunday) we still have some on the ground outside our house! I hope you and your family had a very Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas
Here are lots of pictures from Christmas Eve....present opening, reindeer feeding, cooking making, and lots of other fun stuff at the Seward house!
Dance Recital
Landri had her Christmas Dance Recital last Sunday. It was a little unorganized and different than any other recital that I have ever been to....BUT Landri did great. She was one of the very few who actually knew the right moves and did them. The 1st routine was a ballet dance to "Where Are You Christmas". It was cute. But the 2nd routine was a tap dance to "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" and it was adorable! Landri had practiced it a lot and knew every part! She even found a way to make her way back to the front of the stage every time! Not too sure how much dancing is in our future but it was fun!

North Pole Express
Today we went to Grapevine to ride the North Pole Express with Claire, Cainlee, Jennifer, Grammy, and Logan. We had a great time! While we were waiting the the others, Landri enjoyed playing in the jump house and drinking hot chocolate. The girls all wore their pajamas! Before the train ride, there was a little musical show. At one point, the asked for kids to come on stage to sing Jingle Bells! We were shocked that the girls jumped on stage and were front and center! As we walked to board the train, it started "snowing"! It was so neat! The train ride was lots of fun! We sang Christmas songs, danced, and listened to the Night Before Christmas! At the end of the ride, Santa visited each car of the train! Well, Landri is NOT crazy about Santa! She didn't want to take a picture or get too close to him BUT she did shake his hand! So that is an improvement! We went to eat afterwards! It was a great time together with great friends. Last year we took the girls to the Great Wold Lodge, this year the train.....who knows what next year will bring!
Maybe a Future Texan....
We were in Stephenville a couple weekends ago to meet Ryan's parents for dinner. We had some time to waste so we took Landri around Tarleton. Needless to say, she wasn't impressed with the landmarks we showed her! =) But we did have her pose for a picture in front of the famous Tarleton gates!

Elf on the Shelf
Last week I discovered the best thing ever......Elf on the Shelf! I heard about it from a mom at school and had to get one for Landri (and Claire) that same day! If you have little kids, it is great! It is a little elf (which you name) and a book. It tells you that your elf (ours is Mr. Smiley) will be watching you each day to see how you act then at night while you are sleeping he magically returns to the North Pole to report to Santa! What a great idea! Landri has become a little "independent" lately....which can translate to bossy and bratty at times....So Mr. Smiley has been great....I just mention his name and she straightens right up!
If only I could some how make him last all year...hmmm.......

When we were in Sherman for Thanksgiving, we took some pictures for our Christmas card. Here are some of them, but you will have to wait for your mail to get the "official" one! =)
