One of my best friends and college roommate, Cheryl, and her husband Freddy are now the proud new parents of a baby girl! We have been to see Carly Dilyn Clark twice already and she is just perfect! I am sure that Cheryl will be updating her blog, teamclarktx.blogspot.com, soon. Cheryl and Freddy are such wonderful people and they are going to be awesome parents! Landri thought Carly was too cute! Landri announced "I want one of those!" But when asked if that was what she wanted for her birthday she replied, "No, I want a sandbox!" Too funny! Congrats Cheryl and Freddy! I will post some pics from our visit to the hospital later. I want Cheryl to be able to share on her blog first! =)
As most of you know, I am a 2nd grade teacher at Eagle Heights Elementary in Azle. I love working there and even more I LOVE the people I work with. It makes going to work fun! (on most days!) Paula, our principal, is the backbone of our school. She is always there to lend a hug when someone else needs it or just to listen! Well, she needs all of our hugs and prayers now! Her husband, Russell, was injured last Monday while installing playground equipment at another elementary school in Azle. After being CareFlighted to Harris downtown, he has been paralyzed from the neck down. He has been given a 5% chance of regaining mobility. While this is devasting news, the family knows that Russell is in God's care and is praying for a miracle! So when you have a chance, help them pray for their miracle!
