Another Ice Day......

What a week! We woke up yesterday assuming we were going to school and then we got "THE" call to stay home. It turns out the day was fine and we SHOULD have gone yesterday! The ice and sleet came late last night. SOOOOOOOO, last night at about 9:30 we got the message that we would be starting school at 10:00 this morning. But the weather and road conditions were worse than expected and Landri and I are home again! It is great to stay home now but I will be wishing we didn't on Good Friday and the last Friday of school since we will now have school then!
Yesterday Landri and I enjoyed the day at home...except for the LOTS of whining that she did! Today we will do the same....Ryan went to work but is leaving a little early so that we can go visit the Garcia (Jessica Brace) twins, Olivia and Gabrielle! They were born by c-section yesterday afternoon. I haven't talked to her but did get a text from her sis-in-law that they were all doing fine! YEAH!

Have to share what Landri just told me.......Let me start by stating that we are both in our pj's with long sleeves over them since it is cold! "Mommy, I am worried about this" (pointing to my shirt). "Why are you worried?" Landri "Because this and this don't match!" =)

Things We Did on Our Ice Days:
- Decorated a princess mirror (Thanks Cooper and Carson!)
- Ate snacks (Landri needed MANY of these throughout the day)
- played in the tent
- washed clothes
- took a nap
- watched TV and a movie
- played about 8 games of Memory
- dressed baby dolls
- made chili
- colored and played with play-doh
- asked (Landri) and answered (me) about a million questions!
- looked for ideas for Landri's birthday party
- tried to find a place for summer vacation in Colorado

Tomorrow it will be back to school and we will try to play catch up from the last 2 days! AHHHHHHHHH!
